`telnet login-timeout`

Configures the login timeout for a Telnet session.

Syntax

telnet login-timeout time

no telnet login-timeout time

Command Default

The default login timeout is one minute.

Parameters

time: Time in minutes. The valid values are from 1 through 10. The default is 1.

Global configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

The no form of the command sets the login timeout value to the default.

Examples

The following example shows how to set the login timeout value of a Telnet session to ten minutes.

device(config)# telnet login-timeout 10
