multi-stack-port

Converts both ends of a trunked link between stacking trunks in a traditional stack to links between untrunked ports.
Syntax
multi-stack-port ethernet stack-unit / slot/ portand ethernet stack-unit / slot / port
no multi-stack-port ethernet stack-unit / slot/ port and ethernet stack-unit /slot / port
Parameters
ethernet
Specifies Ethernet as the interface type.
stack-unit
Specifies the stack unit ID.
slot
Specifies the slot number.
port
Specifies the port number in the slot.
Modes

Stack unit configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

The no form of the command removes the stack-ports.

Use this command only when the trunk is live.

Only primary stacking ports can be designated in the command.

Examples

The following example converts the stacking trunk between stack unit 3 and stack unit 4 to a link between untrunked ports.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# stack unit 1
device(config-unit-3)# multi-stack-port ethernet 3/2/1 and ethernet 4/2/1
