Global configuration mode
When an ICX device is managed from RUCKUS One,
RUCKUS recommends that the manager connect and manager disconnect
commands be used to connect to and disconnect from ICX-Management. These two
commands, entered in Privileged EXEC mode or global configuration mode, do not
change the running configuration timestamp, which ICX-Management uses to determine
whether any configuration changes have been made on the ICX device.
RUCKUS recommends that the manager disconnect
command be entered only from the local terminal or using an SSH or a direct Telnet
connection (not through the reverse SSH tunnel).
In an on-premises ICX-Management implementation,
the manager
disconnect command is used to bounce the connection to SmartZone.
The following example disconnects the ICX device from ICX-Management.
