`system-max rmon-entries`

Configures the maximum number of entries allowed in the RMON control table.

Syntax

Command Default

The default number of RMON entries allowed in the RMON control table is 128.

Parameters

value: Specifies the maximum number of entries. Valid values range from 128 to 256.

Usage Guidelines

This command configures the maximum number of entries allowed in the RMON control table, including alarms, history, and events.

Note: In order for the change to take effect, you must save the change to the startup-config file and reload or reboot.

The no form of the command resets the maximum number of entries allowed in the RMON table to the default value.

Examples

The following example sets the maximum number of RMON entries to 256.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# system-max rmon-entries 256
device(config)# write memory
device(config)# exit
device# reload
