network (DHCP)

Configures the subnet network and mask of the DHCP address pool.
Syntax
networksubnet/mask

Specifies the subnet network and mask of the address pool.
Modes

DHCP server pool configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

A subnet network can only be configured under one DHCP address pool. You cannot configure the same subnet network under another DHCP address pool. You must use this command before configuring other options under the DHCP server pool.

If the network configuration is removed using the no network command, all the other configured options under the pool are deleted.

Examples

The following command specifies the subnet network and mask of the DHCP address pool. 

device# configure terminal
device(config)# ip dhcp-server-pool cabo
device(config-dhcp-cabo)# network 10.2.3.44/24

The following command removes the network configuration and all other configured options under the pool.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# ip dhcp-server-pool cabo
device(config-dhcp-cabo)# no network 10.12.13.44/24
Removal of network configuration will delete all other options configured under the pool. Do you want to remove(y or n)?:
