show ipv6 multicast data-plane

Displays IPv6 multicast listening discovery (MLD) data-plane information.
Syntax
show ipv6 multicast data-plane {mcache | mcache-count | settings | vlan vlan-id }
Parameters
mcache
Specifies the data-plane mcache.
mcache-count
Specifies ithe data-plane mcache count.
settings
Specifies the data-plane MLD snooping settings.
vlan vlan-id
Specifies a VLAN.
Modes

User EXEC mode

The show ipv6 multicast data-plane command displays the following information:

Output Field

Description

in-HW

Indicates if traffic flow is programmed in hardware.

Aging:

Indicates the time remaining (Agebit).

Perm

The static mcache.

Epoch

Indicates the number of times the mcache table reconciled with the Active-CP.

Total Number of v4 DP Mcache Entries

Indicates the total number of data-plane mcache entries.

Insert Failure

Indicates if failure occurred.

Vlan-id

The ID of the VLAN.

snoop

Indicates if IPv6 Multicast snooping is enabled.

pimsmsnoop

Indicates if PIM SM snooping is enabled.

use-sg

0: Use *,G-based forwarding

1: Use S,G-based forwarding

unreg-flood

 Indicates if unregistered or unknown multicast flooding is enabled.

Mode

IP or MAC, based on forwarding table used for programming the mcache.

Local Slave Sync State

Name of sync channel used between CP and DP

Local

Indicates if the sync channel is on local unit (value 1) or remote unit.

repl user id

User ID.

Init

Indicates the module is initialized.

dysync type

Sync channel ID

alloc

Number of mcache pools that can be allocated.

in-use

Number of mcache pools currently in use.

avail

Number of available mcache pools.

get-fail

Memory get failed counter.

limit

Maximum entires allowed to be allocated dynamically.

get-mem

Memory allocated call counter.

size

Individual entry size.
Examples

The following example shows information for the IPv6 multicast MLD data-plane mcache. 

device# show ipv6 multicast data-plane mcache

The following example shows information for the IPv6 multicast MLD data-plane mcache count.

The following example shows information for the IPv6 multicast MLD data-plane for all VLANs. 

device# show ipv6 multicast data-plane vlan

Legends:
snoop:Yes -> Multicast snooping is enabled
pimsmsnoop:No - > pimsmsnooping is enabled or not
use-sg: 0: use *,G based forwarding, 1 - use S,G based forwarding
unreg-flood: Unregister/Unknown multicast flooding is enabled or not.

The following example shows information for the data-plane MLD snooping settings.
