clear mac-address

Clears the MAC addresses.
Syntax
clear mac-address [ mac-address | ethernet unit/slot/port | lag lag-id | mdup-stats | vlan vlan-id | vxlan { gw gw-name site site-name | vni vni-id } ]
Parameters
mac-address
Clears entries in all VLANs with the specified MAC address.
ethernet unit/slot/port
Clears the entries on the specified port.
lag lag-id
Specifies the LAG virtual interface.
mdup-stats
Clears MAC database update statistics.
vlan vlan-id
Clears all entries in a VLAN.
vxlan
Clears VXLAN-specific MAC entries.
gw gw-name
Specifies the VXLAN gateway name for which information needs to be cleared.
site site-name
Clears information for the specified remote site.
vni vni-id
Clears information for the designated VXLAN Network Identifier.

Examples

The following example shows how to clear the MAC address of a specific VLAN. 

device# clear mac-address vlan 2

The following example shows how to clear all MAC addresses in the system.
