manager ssh-port

Specifies the SSH port for an ICX-Management connection over the reverse SSH tunnel.
Syntax
manager ssh-port { port-number }
no manager ssh-port { port-number }
Command Default

By default, the SSH port number used to establish an ICX-Management connection is port 22.

Parameters
port-number
Specifies the SSH port number, which must be a valid decimal value.

Usage Guidelines

If an ICX-Management session is established when you configure an SSH port, the session is dropped, and a new session using the new port number is established. A warning message to this effect is displayed when you use the manager ssh-port command, and you are prompted to confirm. You must confirm for the new configuration to take effect.

If you configure a custom port for connection to SmartZone, the SmartZone controller settings must also be updated. Refer to the appropriate SmartZone administration guide for details.

Use the show manager status command to check the SSH port configuration.

The no form of the command removes the configuration.

Examples

The following example configures port 25 as the SSH port used to establish an ICX-Management connection.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# manager ssh-port

device(config)# manager ssh-port 25

device(config)# manager ssh-port 25  <-- Warning message -->

The show manager status command can be used to check the manager ssh-port configuration.
