tag-profile

Configures or changes the tag profile for 802.1ad tagging.
Syntax
tag-profile tag-number
no tag-profile tag-number
Command Default

The default tag number is 0x8100.

Parameters
tag-number
Specifies the number of the tag. For RUCKUS ICX 8200 and ICX 8100 devices, the number is between 0 and 0xfffe. For all other devices, the number is between 0 and 0xffff.

Usage Guidelines

Tag profiles on a single port, or a group of ports, can be configured to point to the global tag profile.

The no command removes the tag profile configuration.
