exclude-ports

Excludes a port from the dynamic port profile configuration.
Syntax
exclude-ports ethernet stackid/slot/port [ to stackid/slot/port ]
no exclude-ports ethernet stackid/slot/port [ to stackid/slot/port ]
Command Default

The port is not excluded from the dynamic port profile configuration.

Parameters
stackid/slot/port
Specifies the Ethernet port which should be excluded from the dynamic port profile.
to stackid/slot/port
Specifies the range of ports that should be exluded from the dynamic port profile.

Port-profile configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

Use the exclude-ports command to add a port or a range of ports to the exclude-ports list. During dynamic port profile binding with MAC OUI or LLDP, the system checks this list. Ports on the exclude list will not be included in the dynamic port profile.

The no form of the command includes all the ports in dynamic port profile.

Examples

The following example shows how to exclude ports from the dynamic port profile.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# port-profile profile1
(config-port-profile-profile1)# lldp-device system-name RUCKUS  
device(config-port-profile-profile1)# exclude-ports ethernet 1/2/2:2
