dlogger module

Enables module filter logging.
Syntax
dlogger module [ module-name | all ] sub-module [ sub-module-name | all ] [ stacktrace ] severity [ severity-level | all ]
no dlogger module [ module-name | all ] sub-module [ sub-module-name | all ] [ stacktrace ] severity [ severity-level | all ]
Command Default

The always-on logs (logs with high severity 0-4) are enabled by default.

Parameters
module-name
Specifies the module for which the logs are filtered.
sub-module sub-module-name
Specifies the corresponding sub-module of the selected module for which the logs are filtered.
severity severity-level
Specifies the severity level by which logs are filtered.
stacktrace
Specifies to enable stacktrace for debug.

Usage Guidelines

The logs that are generated are logged in the Log Manager and also in the circular buffer maintained by the distributed logger module. You can view the logs using the show logging debug command or the show dlogger logs command.

Use the dlogger module command in conjunction with the show logging debug command to view the logs.

When you issue the show logging debug command, the modules and sub-modules must be specified based on the mapping of distributed logger modules to log manager displayed in the show dlogger module filter lm-map command output.

The no form of the command disables module filter logging.

Examples

The following example configures distributed logger and enables module filter logging for a specific module and its sub-module.
