master
Configures the device as a Network Time Protocol (NTP) master clock to which peers
synchronize themselves when an external NTP source is not available.
Command Default
The master clock is disabled by default.

Usage Guidelines
Local time and time zone have to be configured before configuring the
master command.
Use the
master command with caution. It is very easy to override valid time sources using this command,
especially if a low stratum number is configured. Configuring multiple machines in
the same network with the
master command can cause instability in timekeeping if the machines do not agree on the
time.
Note: This command is not effective if NTP is enabled in client-only mode.
The
no form of the command disables the master clock function.
