enable-tcp-mss

Enables the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) maximum segment size (MSS) feature.
Syntax
enable-tcp-mss
no enable-tcp-mss
Command Default

TCP-MSS is disabled.

Modes

Global configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

The command is applicable for ICX 7650 devices only.

When TCP MSS is enabled a device can set a maximum segment size for all TCP connections.

The no form of the command disables the TCP MSS feature.

Examples

The following example enables TCP MSS. 

device# configure terminal
device(config)# enable-tcp-mss
