match community

Matches a BGP community access list name in a route-map instance.
Syntax
match community name [ name … ] [ exact-match ]
no match community name [ name … ] [ exact-match ]
Command Default

By default, match statements are not configured.

Parameters
name
Specifies a BGP community access list name.
exact-match
Specifies that an exact match is required.
Modes

Route-map configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

The no form of the command removes the configuration.

Examples

The following example configures a route map that matches BGP community access list name “abccommunity”. 

device# configure termnial
device(config)# route-map myroutemap permit 1
device(config-routemap myroutemap)# match community abccommunity
