icl-fwd-delay (MCT)

Sets the delay time after an ICL link comes up before regular traffic is forwarded. During the delay, only BPDU forwarding is allowed.
Syntax
icl-fwd-delay { time }
no icl-fwd-delay { time }
Command Default

No delay is configured by default.

Parameters
time
Defines the traffic forwarding delay time in seconds. Valid range is 0 through 30. The default setting is 0.
Modes

MCT cluster configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

If a device is connected to both cluster nodes on CEP ports making it a triangle topology, set icl-fwd-delay to 10 seconds under cluster.

Examples

The following example configures a delay of 3 seconds for an MCT cluster.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# cluster mct_mm_stk 1000 
device(config-cluster-mct_mm_stk)# icl-fwd-delay 3
device(config-cluster-mct_mm_stk)# exit
device(config)#
