`flash-timeout`

Configures the flash timeout duration.

Syntax

flash-timeout time

no flash-timeout time

Command Default

The default flash timeout value is 12 minutes.

Parameters

time: Specifies the flash timeout value in minutes. Valid values range from 12 to 120 minutes.

Modes

Global configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

The new timeout value will be effective from the next flash operation.

The no form of the command removes the flash timeout configuration and restores the default value of 12 minutes.

Examples

The following example configures the flash timeout value as 30 minutes.

device(config)# flash-timeout 30
