ip multicast flood-unregistered

Enables the flooding of initial packets for unregistered IP multicast groups until hardware entries are programmed. Once the hardware entries are programmed, packets are dropped for unregistered multicast groups.
Syntax
ip multicast flood-unregistered
no ip multicast flood-unregistered
Command Default

Flooding behaviour is not enabled.

The no form of the command disables the flooding of initial packets for IP multicast frames.
