For RUCKUS ICX 8200-24PV and ICX 8200-C08PFV devices, using the default parameter turns on all active port LEDs with the default status. This also resets the mode button, system LEDs, and management LEDs to the default settings. For RUCKUS ICX 8200-24PV and ICX 8200-C08PFV devices, using the off parameter turns off all LEDs, including port LEDs, the Mode button, system LEDs (SYS, DIAG, MSTR, CLD, UPDATE, and PWR), and management port LEDs. For RUCKUS ICX 8200-24PV and ICX 8200-C08PFV devices, using the on parameter turns on all port LEDs and Management port LEDs, so that they display a steady green regardless of the port status. The mode button and system LEDs revert to the default settings.

The status mode feature cannot be used when port LEDs are turned on to locate a device. If the status mode is changed, the LED status will be changed to the respective mode.

On all ICX devices, the diganostic LED commands and normal LED funcationality cannot oprate simultaneously. The daigonostic commands (led on, led off, led blink, etc.) temporarily override the system's normal LED behavior and are intended strictly for troubleshooting purposes. During LED diagnostic mode, regular operations or commands that affect LED status (such as speed set, port disasble) are not supported and may cause unexpected behavior. To restore standard LED operation after using any diagnostic command, or if the LEDs appear to be malfunctioning or not responding, using must run led default. This restores normal LED functionality.

The default LED status is the status of the LEDs according to the current status mode, if the status mode is supported. If the status mode is not supported, the link status or port status is considered to be the default LED status.

If the status of the port changes due to any events such as link up or link down, USB plug in or USB plug out, optical interruption, and so on, the LED status of that particular port LED is changed.
