ipv6 cache-lifetime

Configures the IPv6 cache-aging lifetime.
Syntax
ipv6 cache-lifetimeinterval
no ipv6 cache-lifetimeinterval
Command Default

Cache aging is enabled by default.

Parameters
interval
Specifies the cache timeout interval in seconds. The default is 300 seconds.
Modes

Global configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

The no form of this command disables cache aging.

Examples

This example sets the cache-aging interval to 17 seconds. 

device# configure terminal
device (config)# ipv6 cache-lifetime 17
