copy scp client-private-key

Downloads a copy of the client private RSA key from an SCP server to the ICX device

Syntax

copy scp
                  client-private-key

{ scp-hostname | ip-address [ remote-port ] | ipv6 { ipv6-hostname | ipv6-address } } { source-filename }

Parameters

scp-hostname: Specifies the hostname of the SCP host.
ip-address: Specifies the IPv4 address of the SCP host (in the form A.B.C.D).
ipv6 { ipv6-hostname | ipv6-address }: Specifies the IPv6 hostname or IPv6 address of the SCP host.
remote-port: Specifies the remote port number. Valid decimal value is 1 through 65535.
source-filename: Specifies the filename to be copied from the SCP host.

Examples

The following example downloads a copy of the RSA key file rsakey from the server scphost1.

device# copy scp client-private-key scphost1 rsakey

The following example downloads a copy of the client private RSA key file clientrsa from the SCP host server with the IPv6 address shown.

device# copy scp client-private-key ipv6 2001:DB8::300 clientrsa
