ip vrrp vrid
Configures an IPv4 Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) virtual router identifier
(VRID).
Command Default
A VRRP VRID does not exist.

Before configuring this command, ensure that VRRP is enabled globally; otherwise, an error stating “Invalid input...” is displayed as you try to create a VRRP instance.
The
no form of this command removes the IPv4 VRRP VRID from the configuration.

The following example configures VRRP virtual router ID 1.
