flash

Use the flash command to perform basic flash file maintenance.
Syntax
flash { copy source-file destination-file | dbgflock | delete flash-file | files directory-name | rename source-file destination-file }
Parameters
copy source-file destination-file
Copy the source flash file to a new file
dbgflock
Display the flash access lock holder
delete flash-file
Delete the flash file
files directory-name
Display flash files in a particular directory
rename source-file destination-file
Rename a flash file

The command is useful in flash file maintenance.

Examples

In the following example, flash files are displayed. 

device# flash files

The show flash command also displays flash file information but with different results. 

device# show flash
