`failover`

Enables or disables LAG (Link Aggregation Group) hardware failover on the next port in the LAG or on all ports in the LAG.

Syntax

failover {next | all}

no failover {next | all}

Command Default

LAG hardware failover is disabled.

Parameters

next: Specifies that failover is to be enabled or disabled on the next port in the LAG.
all: Specifies that failover is to be enabled or disabled on all ports in the LAG.

Modes

Dynamic LAG configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

The no form of this command disables LAG hardware failover.

LAG hardware failover is supported only on RUCKUS ICX 7750 devices.

Examples

The following example enables LAG failover on the next port in the LAG:

device(config)# lag one dynamic            
device(config-lag-one)# failover next

The following example enables LAG failover on all ports in the LAG:

device(config)# lag one dynamic            
device(config-lag-one)# failover all
