- Viewing My Services
From the
RUCKUS One web interface, configured services such as connectivity, security, application,
guest, and resident services on the
My Services page.
- Access Control Policy Details
The access control feature is a method for
identifying, authenticating, and authorizing wireless devices that request access
to the
network server. The network security is managed by creating access control rules and
policies that limit user access and deny access to devices that do not follow the
access
control rules and policies. This feature allows you to configure access policies from
Layer
2 to Layer 7.
- Editing or Deleting the Access Control
Policy
You can edit or delete an Access Control
Policy profile to update its configuration or remove it when it is no longer
needed.
- Adaptive Policy Details
The Adaptive Policy is configured at the
destination network to authenticate, authorize, and account for clients attempting
to
connect to the network server. This policy allows network devices to match client
tags
instead of IP addresses.
- Editing or Deleting the Adaptive
Policy
You can use this feature to edit or delete
the Adaptive Policy.
- Editing or Deleting an AV Profile
You can edit or delete an AV Profile
to update its configuration or remove it when it is no longer needed.
- Client Isolation Profile Details
Client isolation prevents clients on the
same network from communicating with each other. Client isolation segregates Layer
2 traffic
from all clients. It prevents direct communication between devices and is a prudent
choice
in a guest network when unknown users are joining the same network. You can create
exceptions to client isolation (such as allowing access to a local printer, for example)
by
creating Client Isolation Allow list.
- Editing or Deleting the Client Isolation
Profile
You can use this feature to edit or delete
the Client Isolation profile.
- Viewing DPSK Service Details
You can view the details of the DPSK
service running in your network.
- Editing or Deleting a DPSK Service
A Dynamic Pre-Shared Key (DPSK)
service defines how unique credentials are generated, assigned, and enforced for client
access. Editing or deleting a DPSK service allows you to modify authentication behavior
or
remove access policies associated with the service.
- MAC Registration Lists Details
The MAC Registration List allows a network
to create a list of devcies that are allowed to connect to a WLAN based on Layer 2
MAC
address. After creating the MAC list, enable the MAC authentication using
(Wi-Fi Open network) or
(Wi-Fi Network
Pre-Shared Key).
- Managing MAC Registrations
Managing MAC registrations comprises your
ability to add, import, edit, delete, revoke, and unrevoke MAC addresses for a specific
MAC
Registration List.
- Editing or Deleting the MAC Registration
Lists
You can edit or delete MAC registration
lists from the RUCKUS One web interface. To edit, delete, revoke, or unrevoke a specific
MAC
registration (a MAC address) for a MAC registration list, refer to
Managing MAC
Registrations.
- Viewing the mDNS Proxy Service
You can view the details information about
the mDNS Proxy service.
- Editing mDNS Proxy Service
You can edit an existing mDNS proxy service.
- Viewing Portal Details
You can view the detail information about
the guest portal.
- Editing a Guest Portal Service
You can edit the existing guest
portals.
- Radius Server Profile Details
The Radius server profile for
authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) is a network server that is used
for
access control. Using the Radius Server profile, you can create a network that authenticates
users on a wireless device against a remote AAA server.
- Editing or Deleting a Property Management
System Service
You can edit or delete a Property
Management System (PMS) service to manage integration settings, credentials, and service
connections used by venues in
RUCKUS One.
- Editing or Deleting the RADIUS Server
Profile
You can edit or delete a RADIUS Server
profile to update its configuration or remove it when it is no longer needed.
- Viewing Resident Portals
You can view the details information
about the resident portals.
- Viewing Resident Portal Web Page
You can view the detailed information
about the resident portals.
- Editing or Deleting a Resident
Portal
You can edit or delete the RUCKUS
supported resident portal.
- Rogue AP Detection Policy Details
The Rogue AP Detection policy enables you
to create Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) policies for rogue wireless device
detection. You can create rules to classify rogue access points as Known, Ignored,
Malicious, or Unclassified.
- Editing or Deleting the Rogue AP Detection
Policy
You can edit or delete a Rogue AP
Detection policy to modify or remove existing classification rules and venue assignments.
Editing the policy updates rogue AP detection behavior for the associated venues,
while
deleting the policy removes it from the system.
- SNMP Agent Profile
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)
is one of the widely accepted protocols to manage and monitor network devices. The
SNMP
agent is a program that is packaged within the network element. These agents are enabled
and
configured in Venue/AP Group/AP for communicating with the network management system.
The
SNMPv2 and SNMPv3 are the two SNMP agents.
- Editing or Deleting the SNMP Agent
Profile
You can use this feature to edit or delete
SNMP Agent policy.
- Syslog Server Profile Details
System logging allows you to send event
messages and system logs to an external server for offline reporting. You can configure
primary and secondary syslog servers to log the syslog messages and it ensures that
the
messages are not lost due to the temporary unavailability of one syslog server.
- Editing or Deleting the Syslog Server
Policy
You can use this feature to edit or delete
the Syslog Server policy.
- Viewing an Existing Tunnel Profile
A tunnel profile defines the rules that
create and govern a tunnel, including the tunnel type, settings related to the MTU
and timer
values for tunnel health.
- Editing or Deleting a Tunnel
Profile
As your network evolves, you may edit or
delete Tunnel Profiles, as necessary.
- Editing or Deleting a User Role
You can edit or delete User Roles to
update access permissions or remove roles that are no longer needed.
- VLAN Pool Details
VLAN pooling is commonly used in high
density deployments where you have lot of clients. Placing thousands of clients into
a
single large subnet or VLAN can result in degraded performance due to factors like
broadcast
and multicast traffic. VLAN pooling allows administrators to configure a pool of multiple
VLANs and each client is assigned a VLAN from the pool on the same SSID. Thus, VLAN
pooling
automatically partitions large groups of clients into multiple smaller subgroups,
even when
connected to the same SSID.
- Editing or Deleting the VLAN Pool
Policy
You can use this feature to edit or delete
the VLAN Pool policy.
- Editing or Deleting a Webhook
You can edit or delete a webhook to update
its configuration or remove it when it is no longer needed.
- Editing or Deleting a Wi-Fi Calling
Service
You can view, edit, or delete a Wi‑Fi
Calling service configured in your
RUCKUS One account.
- Wi-Fi Operator Overview
A Wi-Fi operator deploys and operates an
access network of publicly accessible or guest access Passpoint APs.
