Adding an Extended Rule

Complete the following steps to add an extended rule, .
  1. On the navigation bar, click Wired > Wired Network Profiles > Configuration Profiles.

    The Wired Networks page is displayed. By default, the Configuration Profiles tab is selected.

  2. Click Add Regular Profile or select an existing profile and click Edit.
  3. In the General Properties, enter the profile name and description and the click Next.
  4. Click Add VLAN.
  5. In the VLANs page, complete the configuration and click Next.
  6. In the ACL page, click Add ACL.
    The Add ACL page is displayed.

  7. Select the type of rule as Extended.
  8. Click Add Rule to add a rule.
    You can edit or delete an existing ACL rule from the Add ACL page.

  9. Complete the following configurations.
    • Sequence: Specify the sequence number.
    • Action: Select an action as Permit or Deny.
    • Protocol: Choose the protocol: IP, TCP, or UDP.
    • Source Network: Specify the source network.
    • Destination Network: Specify the destination network.
    • Source Port: Specify the source port.
    • Destination Port: Specify the destination port.
  10. Click Add to return to the Switch Configuration Profile page.
