Using a QR Code to Join a Wi-Fi Network

Instead of entering a Wi-Fi password manually, you can join a Wi-Fi network using a QR code.
Complete the following steps to join a Wi-Fi network using a QR code.
  1. From the main menu, click Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Networks > Wi-Fi Networks List and click a WLAN name to open its Wi-Fi details page.

  2. Click More Actions. A drop-down list is displayed.
  3. Select Show QR Code.
  4. In the Share Wi-Fi QR Code page, you can perform the following actions.

    1. Click Save to download the QR code.
    2. Click Print to print the QR code.
    3. Scan the QR code using a smartphone camera to connect to the Wi-Fi network.

    The Show QR Code option is not supported across all WLAN types. Refer to the following table for more information.
