Renaming an AP

Renaming an AP allows the AP to be more easily identifiable in the web interface, tables, charts, graphs, and other user interface elements.

Complete the following steps to rename an AP.

  1. From the main menu, select Wi-Fi > Access Points > AP List.
  2. Select an AP and click Edit. The General tab is displayed by default.
  3. In the Device Name field, replace the AP name with a recognizable name and click Apply to save the changes.
