Suppresses unknown unicast traffic for a VLAN Layer 2 Ethernet Virtual Private Network (EVPN) instance.
Syntax
unknown-unicast-suppress
no unknown-unicast-suppress
Command Default

Unknown unicast suppression is disabled by default.

Usage Guidelines

This command is supported for RUCKUS ICX 7850 and ICX 7550 devices only.

The no form of the command allows unknown unicast traffic for a VLAN Layer 2 EVPN instance.

Examples

The following example suppresses unknown unicast traffic for Layer 2 EVPN instance ID 100. 

device# configure terminal
device(config)# l2vpn evpn
device(config-evpn)# evpn-instance 100 vlan-based
device(config-evpn-evi)# unknown-unicast-suppress
