ip arp inspection

This command information is new for 10.0.20a

Enable/Disable DAI at ethernet (port) level.

Syntax

ip arp
                  inspection

no ip arp
                  inspection

Command Default

The ip arp inspection is disabled by default.

Modes

Global configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

The no form of this command disables arp inspection on the interface.

Port level arp inspection can only be enabled if VLAN arp inspection is disabled for the port..

This command is only supported for ICX 8200 devices.

Examples

The following example enables ip arp inspection on a specific interface.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# interface ethernet 1/1/2
device(config-if-e2500-1/1/2)# ip arp inspection
