remote-id}DHCPv6 packets are forwarded without regard for the client's network location information in the DHCPv6 messages.
Interface configuration mode.
This command is supported for ICX 8200 devices only.
The no form of the command
will disable the DHCPv6 relay information functionality on the specified VLAN or
interface.
The following example enables
DHCPv6 relay information and defines the remote-id on the specified VLAN. The
show command is used to confirm the configuration on the
VLAN.
device# config terminal device(config)# vlan 1000 device(config-vlan-1000)# dhcp6-relay information enable device(config-vlan-1000)# dhcp6-relay information remote-id remote01 device(config-vlan-1000)# exit device# show running-config vlan 1000 vlan 1000 by port tagged ethe 1/1/11 ethe 1/1/23 dhcp-relay information enable dhcp-relay information remote-id remote01
