`ippm profile`

Creates an IP Performance Metrics (IPPM) profile.

Syntax

ippm profile profile-name type icmp-echo

no ippm profile

profile-name type icmp-echo

Command Default

IPPM profiles are not present in the database.

Parameters

profile-name: Specifies the name of an IPPM profile.
type: Specifies the type.
icmp-echo: Specifies that ICMP echo is used to identify the test type for the profile.

Modes

Global configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

A maximum of five profiles can be configured.

The no form of the command removes the configured profile from the database.

Examples

The following example creates an IPPM profile named "test1" and specifies that ICMP echo is used to identify the test type for the profile.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# ippm profile test1 type icmp-echo
