copy flash scp/tftp(.pcap)

Exports the packet capture (.pcap) file to an SCP or TFTP server.
Syntax

Syntax for SCP:

copy flash {scp | tftp }server-ip file-name.pcap file
Parameters
scp
Specifies Secure Copy (SCP) as the method used to transfer the .pcap file to the external server.
tftp
Specifies Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) as the method used to transfer the .pcap file to the external server.
server-ip
Specifies the IPv4 address of the SCP server or the TFTP server.
file file-name.pcap
Specifies the name of the packet capture file.

Usage Guidelines

You are prompted for your username and password when you enter this command.

Examples

The following example exports the .pcap file to an SCP server. The user is prompted for username and password.

device# copy flash scp 10.177.16.145 packet_capture_2024_05_04_13_34_49.pcap file

The following example exports the .pcap file to a TFTP server. The user is prompted for username and password.
