BGP address-family IPv6 unicast configuration mode
BGP L2VPN EVPN address family configuration mode
The host device on which reflection is configured becomes the route-reflector server.
When this command is entered in BGP global configuration mode, it applies only to the IPv4 address family. Use this command in BGP address-family IPv6 unicast configuration mode for BGP4+ configurations. Use this command in BGP L2VPN EVPN address family configuration mode for BGP L2VPN EVPN configurations.
This command can be configured in BGP L2VPN EVPN address family configuration mode for RUCKUS ICX 7850 and ICX 7550 devices only.
The following example configures client-to-client reflection on the BGP4 host device.
device# configure terminal device(config)# router bgp device(config-bgp-router)# client-to-client-reflection
The following example disables client-to-client reflection on the BGP4+ host device.
device# configure terminal device(config)# router bgp device(config-bgp-router)# address-family ipv6 unicast device(config-bgp-ipv6u)# no client-to-client-reflection
The following example re-enables client-to-client reflection for the BGP L2VPN EVPN address family if it has been disabled.
device# configure terminal device(config)# router bgp device(config-bgp-router)# local-as 656 device(config-bgp-router)# neighbor 1.1.1.35 remote-as 656 device(config-bgp-router)# address-family l2vpn evpn device(config-bgp-l2vpn-evpn)# neighbor 1.1.1.35 activate device(config-bgp-l2vpn-evpn)# neighbor 1.1.1.35 send-community both device(config-bgp-l2vpn-evpn)# client-to-client-reflection
