my-mac advertise

Advertises MY MAC addresses to all Ethernet Virtual Private Network (EVPN) instances.
Syntax
my-mac advertise
no my-mac advertise

My-Mac address is not advertised to peering VTEPs by default.

Usage Guidelines

This command is used to advertise the MAC address for a Virtual Tunnel End Point (VTEP) to the peering VTEPs so that they use the advertised MAC address as the nexthop when required.

This command is supported for RUCKUSICX 7850 and ICX 7550 devices only.

The no form of the command disables the advertising of MY MAC addresses to all EVPN instances.

Examples

The following example enables the advertising of MY MAC addresses to all EPN instances. 

device# configure terminal
device(config)# l2vpn evpn
device(config-evpn)#  my-mac advertise

The following example disables compatibility with RFC 8365. 

device# configure terminal
device(config)# l2vpn evpn
device(config-evpn)#  no my-mac advertise
