repeat monthly

Sets the recurrence interval for monthly execution of time profile on specified days in a month.
Syntax
repeat monthly { day-of-the-month | list-of-monthdays }
no repeat monthly { day-of-the-month | list-of-monthdays }
Command Default

By default, the system assumes a profile of type one-time, which executes only once.

Parameters
day-of-the-month
Specifies one day of the month for recurring execution of the time profile. Use a number (1-31) to represent the day of the month.
list-of-monthdays
Specifies multiple days of the month for recurring execution of the time profile. Use numbers 1 through 31 to represent the days. Day numbers can be entered as a comma-separated list, a range, or a combination of both comma-separated list and range.

Usage Guidelines

During configuration of the time-profile, you may enter the repeat command at any point prior to entering the schedule command. On applying this configuration, the time profile type changes from default one-time to recurring. This command will be applied only if no other repeat configuration exists for the specified profile.

The no form of this command deletes the monthly recurrence configuration.

Examples

The following example shows how to create a recurring time profile named "monthly", configuring the profile to execute the added command, and scheduling the profile to run on the 2nd day of every month at 5:30 am beginning September 30, 2024.

The following example shows how to create a recurring time profile named "profile1", configuring the profile to execute the added commands, and scheduling the profile to run on the 15th, and the 20th through the 25th of every month at 8:50 am beginning September 30, 2024.
