copy tftp running-config

Downloads configuration information from a TFTP server into the ICX device's running configuration.
Syntax
copy tftp running-config { ip-addr filename }
Parameters
ip-addr
Specifies the IPv4 or IPv6 address of the TFTP server.
filename
Specifies the filename on the TFTP server.
Modes

Privileged EXEC mode

Examples

The following example downloads the running-configuration file from a TFTP server and saves it to the filename rc.txt on the ICX device. 

device# copy tftp running-config 10.176.6.93 rc.txt
Parameter Validation Successful
Running Config Download started
....Running Config Download Done
Running Config Download Complete

When an external configuration is copied to a running configuration, the following error message is displayed if any config parsing fails.

device# copy tftp running-config 10.177.16.144 fi/test/runn
Parameter Validation Successful
Running Config Download Started
....
Running Config Download Done
Running Config Download Complete
Failed to apply a few configurations, 
Please execute "show log debug management cfg_par err" for more details
