match evpn-route-type

Configures the Ethernet Virtual Private Network (EVPN) route type for a route map instance.
Syntax
match evpn-route-type type
no match evpn-route-type type
Command Default

An EVPN prefix route type is not configured for a route map instance.

Parameters
type
Specifies the EVPN route type. Valid values range from 1 through 5. Refer to the usage Guidelines section for more information on these values.
Modes

Route-map configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

The EVPN route type can be any value from one through 5. The following routes apply for each of these values:

  • 1: Ethernet Auto-Discovery (A-D) route.
  • 2: MAC/IP advertisement route.
  • 3: Inclusive Multicast Ethernet Tag (IMET) route.
  • 4: Ethernet Segment route.
  • 5: IP Prefix route

This command is supported for RUCKUS ICX 7850 and ICX 7550 devices only.

The no form of the command removes the configured EVPN route type for the route map instance.

Examples

The following example configures a route map that denies routes matching EVPN route type 2 (MAC/IP advertisement routes) and permitting other EVPN routes.

device# configure terminal 
device(config)# route-map myroutemap deny 1
device(config)# route-map myroutemap permit 2
device(config-routemap myroutemap)# match evpn-route-type 2
