port-profile

Configures a port profile.
Syntax
port-profile port-profile-name
no port-profile port-profile-name
Command Default

A port profile is not created for any port by deafult.

Usage Guidelines

The no form of the command without any port profile name removes all the configured port profiles.

Examples
The following example shows how to create a static port profile and specify the interface on which the profile needs to be applied.
device# configure terminal
device(config)# port-profile profile1
device(config-port-profile-profile1)# ports ethernet 1/1/5
The following example shows how to create a dynamic port profile. Create an LLDP device entry and mention the system name and system description.
device# configure terminal
device(config)# port-profile profile1
device(config-port-profile-profile1)# lldp-device system-name RuckusAP system-desc R720

The following example configures MAC-OUI entry.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# port-profile profile1
device(config-port-profile-pro1)# mac-oui F8:E7:1E
