show watcher

Displays information for configured watcher profiles, and the latest statistics for IP Performance Metrics (IPPM) profiles.
Syntax
show watcher watcher-name [ detail ]
show watcher detail
Parameters
watcher-name
Specifies a watcher name and displays the latest result statistics of the configured IPPM profile.
detail
Displays the latest five iterations of results for the watcher profile.
Modes

User EXEC mode

The show watcher command displays the following information:

Output field Description
Result The overall status of the watcher profile. Possible values:
  • Up: Target is reachable.
  • Down: Target is unreachable.
  • Pending: IPPM profile is inactive.
Action Specifies the logging actions that are part of the watcher configuration. This includes the following:
  • States whether logging is enabled or disabled for successful checks.
  • Logging for failure: Indicates whether logging is enabled or disabled for failed checks.
  • Static-route: Shows whether static route mapping to the watcher profile is active or inactive. |
 

- Profile: (e.g., "ipsla", "p1").

- Frequency: (e.g., 60 seconds).

Module IPPM Associated IPPM module information. Contains the following sub-fields:
  • profile: The IPPM profile linked to this watcher.
  • frequency: Interval at which the watcher checks the monitored parameters, in seconds.
  • state: Status of the IPPM profile, which can be Active or Inactive.
  • Results for various metrics such as Time To Live (TTL), Round Trip Time (RTT), and JITTER. Each metric is marked as S (Success) or F (Failure).
Latest 5 results Displays the latest five iterations of the results for the associated IPPM profile. For each iteration, the results for TTL, RTT, and JITTER are shown as S (Success) or F (Failure). This output field only appears when the detail keyword is used.

The following example displays the configuration information for a watcher profile named "w1" and displays the latest result statistics for the associated IPPM profile.
