address-family l2vpn evpn

Enables the BGP L2VPN EVPN address family configuration mode to configure a variety of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) Ethernet Virtual Private Network (EVPN) options.
Syntax
address-family l2vpn evpn
no address-family l2vpn evpn
Command Default

The L2VPN EVPN address family configuration mode is disabled by default.

Usage Guidelines

The L2VPN EVPN address family must be enabled for all BGP EVPN peers.

The L2VPN EVPN address family is supported for the default Virtual routing and forwarding (VRF) only.

This command is supported for RUCKUS ICX 7850 and ICX 7550 devices only.

The no form of the command removes L2VPN EVPN address family configurations from the device.

Examples

The following example enables BGP L2VPN EVPN address family configuration mode.

device(config-bgp-router)# address-family l2vpn evpn
