show ipv6 ospf area

Displays the OSPFv3 area table in a specified format.
Syntax
show ipv6 ospf area [ A.B.C.D ] [ decimal ]
Parameters
A.B.C.D
Area address in dotted decimal format.
decimal
Area address in decimal format.
Modes

User EXEC mode

The show ipv6 ospf area command displays the following information:

Output field

Description

Area

The area number.

Interface attached to this area

The device interfaces attached to the area.

Number of Area scoped LSAs is N

Number of LSAs (N ) with a scope of the specified area.

SPF algorithm executed is N

The number of times (N ) the OSPF Shortest Path First (SPF) algorithm is executed within the area.

SPF last updated

The interval in seconds that the SPF algorithm was last executed within the area.

Current SPF node count

The current number of SPF nodes in the area.

Router

Number of router LSAs in the area.

Network

Number of network LSAs in the area.

Indx

The row number of the entry in the routers’s OSPF area table.

Statistics of Area

The number of the area whose statistics are displayed.

Maximum hop count to nodes.

The maximum number of hop counts to an SPF node within the area.
