show ip multicast mcache

Displays information for the IP multicast forwarding mcache.
Syntax
show ip multicast [ cluster ] mcache [ group-address | vlan vlan-id ]
Parameters
cluster
Specifies a Multi-Chassis Trunking (MCT) cluster.
group-address
Specifies the address of the multicast group.
vlan vlan-id
Specifies a VLAN.
Modes

User EXEC mode

The show ip multicast mcache command displays the following information:

Output Field

Description

(source group):

The source and group addresses of this data stream. (* group) means match group only; (source group) means match both.

For snooping when it is MAC-based, only *,G entries will be present in multicast mcache output for IPv4 and IPv6. S,G entries will not be present.

cnt

The number of packets processed in software.

OIF

The outgoing interface list.

age

The mcache age in seconds. The mcache is reset to 0 if traffic continues to arrive; otherwise, the mcache is aged out when it reaches the time defined by the ipv6 multicast mcache-age command.

up-time

The uptime of this mcache in seconds.

impc (or l2mc)

The hardware entry which has the list of replication ports.

Note: For ICX 7550, ICX 7650, and ICX 7850 devices, l2mc is replaced with ipmc in the output.

ref-cnt

The number of mcaches using this IPMC.

AgeMask

Stacking unit ID where traffic flow is active (traffic ingression).

HwFailMask

Stacking unit ID where traffic flow is not programmed in the hardware. This field is displayed only when there is a failure.
