show interfaces brief

Displays port information in brief mode.
Syntax
show interfaces brief [ethernet stackid/slot/port |lag [lag-id | lag-name ]| loopback loopback | management mgmt_interface| mgmt mgmt_interface | unitunit-id | ve vlan_id | wide ethernet stackid/slot/port | lag [lag-id | lag-name ] ]
Parameters
ethernet stackid/slot/port
Specifies the stack ID number, slot number, and port number for an existing Ethernet interface.
lag
[lag-id ]

Displays information for a virtual LAG specified by the LAG ID.

lag-name

Displays information for a virtual LAG specified by the LAG name.

loopback [loopback]
Displays information for the specified loopback.
management [mgmt_interface]
Displays information for the specified management interface.
mgmt [mgmt_interface]
Displays information for the specified management interface.
unit [unit-id]
Displays information for all ports in a stack unit.
ve [vlan_id]
Specifies the configured corresponding VLAN interface.
wide [ethernet [stackid/slot/port] | lag [ lag-id | lag-name ]]
Displays the complete port name.

Usage Guidelines

You can use the show interface brief command to display the configuration assigned to the port. If any of the ports have long port names, they are truncated. To show full port names, use the show interfaces brief wide command.

The show interfaces brief command displays the following information:

Output field Description
Port Displays the port number.
Link Displays the link state,.
State Displays the current port state.
Dupl Displays the duplex state of the port (Full, Half, or None).
Speed Displays the link speed.
Trunk Displays whether the port is part of a trunk.
Tag Displays whether the ports have VLAN tagging. The value can be Yes or No.
Pvid Displays the port VLAN ID assigned to untagged traffic entering the port,
Pri Displays the Quality of Service (QoS) priority of the ports. The priority can be a value from 0 through 7.
MAC Displays the MAC address of the port.
Note: If a unit is provisional (it is reserved and does not have a physical unit associated with the unit ID), the interface MAC address displayed for the unit is 0000.0000.0000.
Name Displays the optional name (if present) assigned to the port if present

The following example displays information for all port interfaces.

If any of the ports have long port names, the are truncated. To show full port names, use the show interfaces brief wide command. The following example displays the complete port name for an interface.
