ip tcp analytics rate

Changes the TCP Syn DDoS analytics threshold rate to a value other than the default. TCP Syn DDoS refers to a type of distributed denial-of-service attack in which an abnormal influx of Synchronize packets at the TCP layer disrupts normal traffic to the switch.
Syntax
ip tcp analytics rate threshold-rate
no ip tcp analytics rate threshold-rate
Command Default

The default threshold rate is 1000 packets per second.

Note: This command is supported on ICX 7550, ICX 7650 and ICX 7850 devices only.
Parameters
threshold-rate
The threshold rate at which an alarm or notification is raised.
Modes

Global configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

The no form of the command reverts back to the default threshold rate; that is,1000 packets per second.

Examples

The following example configures the threshold rate to 800:
