`ipv6 nd ra-hop-limit`

Sets the hop limit for router advertisement messages.

Syntax

ipv6 nd ra-hop-limit number

no ipv6 nd ra-hop-limit number

Command Default

The default hop is 64.

Parameters

number: Specifies the number of hops. Valid values are 0 to 255. The default value is 64.

Usage Guidelines

The no form of the commands resets the number of hops to the default value of 64.

Examples

The following example sets the number of hops to 100.

device(config)# interface ethernet 1/3/1
