`ipv6 cache-lifetime`

Configures the IPv6 cache-aging lifetime.

Syntax

ipv6 cache-lifetimeinterval

no ipv6 cache-lifetimeinterval

Command Default

Cache aging is enabled by default.

Parameters

interval: Specifies the cache timeout interval in seconds. The default is 300 seconds.

Usage Guidelines

The no form of this command disables cache aging.

Examples

This example sets the cache-aging interval to 17 seconds.
