`ipv6 multicast max-response-time`

Sets the maximum number of seconds a client (IPv6) can wait before responding to a query sent by the device.

Syntax

ipv6 multicast max-response-time interval

no ipv6 multicast max-response-time interval

Command Default

The wait time is 10 seconds.

Parameters

interval: Specifies the maximum time, in seconds, a client can wait before responding to a query sent by the switch. The range is 1 through 25 seconds. The default is 10 seconds.

The no form of this command restores the default maximum interval.

Examples

This example configures the maximum time a client can wait before responding to a query to 5 seconds.

device(config)# ipv6 multicast max-response-time 5
