`interface tunnel`

Configures a tunnel interface.

Syntax

interface tunnel tunnel-number

no interface tunnel tunnel-number

Command Default

No tunnel interface is configured.

Usage Guidelines

ICX 8100 devices do not support tunnels.

The no form of the command removes the tunnel interface.

Examples

The following example creates a tunnel interface.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# interface tunnel 2
device(config-tnif-2)#
