Debugging Notes
If zero-touch is taking longer than expected, enter the following command and save the output for analysis:
debug stack zero-touch 2(where 2 is the level of debug).During SPX system deployment, make sure that ports intended for zero-touch discovery remain up. If for any reason any of these ports go down, the zero-touch utility automatically creates LAGs based on ports detected during zero-touch discovery.
Do not run the zero-touch utility if any of the PE candidates contain any stacking configuration. The recommended best practice is to create a clean unit before any zero-touch deployment.
Beginning with FastIron 08.0.61, a user can collect the dumps of the following ZTP commands for debugging purposes:
If a new unit is running a switch image, once the unit is added, the Auto-Copy utility copies the router image to the new unit. Refer to Image Upgrade for more information. If the Auto-Copy utility is not completed, you must save the configuration and reload the CB.
Hello, There is a best practice section that is missing here before the Debugging notes. Please bring it back from the old doc. Thanks
