Deployment Scenario 6: Adding More Links to a Live SPX Link Using the multi-spx-lag Command

The following show spx command output shows one SPX link between PE 17 and PE 18 (17/3/1–18/3/1). Use the following procedure to add more links. The example adds 17/3/2–18/3/2 and 17/3/3–18/3/3 to existing SPX links.

  3. Enter the multi-spx-lag command to convert the SPX port to an SPX LAG.

spx-port 18/3/1 is replaced by spx-lag 18/3/1 to 18/3/3.
spx-port 17/3/1 is replaced by spx-lag 17/3/1 to 17/3/3.
